| KNANAYA STAR PROGRAM |
We are proud to announce that KCCNA is launching the “KNANAYA STAR PROGRAM” for the
youth members of our community. Knanaya Star Program is an educational scholarship program
awarded to Knanaya Catholic Youth who are members of approved Knanaya Catholic Associations
under KCCNA. The program is for the youth members who excel in academia, mentoring of
Knanaya catholic community youth and Knanaya Catholic Community service. Each local unit shall
propose eligible candidates to the Knanaya Star Program Committee based on evaluations
performed by an approved evaluation tool published by the Knanaya Star Program Committee. The
final list of eligible candidates shall be approved by the Knanaya Star Program Committee and the
scholarship will be awarded at the KCCNA Convention.
The funding for the program will be from funds allocated for educational programs by KCCNA and
also by contributions from individual families in North America. Seventy percent of the fund will be
utilized for awarding scholarship to eligible Knanaya catholic youth in North America and thirty
percent of the fund will be utilized for awarding scholarship to eligible Knanaya catholic youth in
Kerala. The scholarship program in North America will be administered by the Knanaya Star
Program Committee under the auspices of KCCNA and the scholarship program in Kerala will be
administered by the Kottayam Service Society and Malabar Service Society of the Arch eparchy of
Kottayam, under the auspices of KCCNA.

Program. Pledge forms are enclosed in the KCCNA convention registration package. If you have
