Rules & Guidelines for Ganamela
1) Ganamela committee made a fair discition to allote number of songs in accordance with number of registration of each unit. Number registration versus number of songs allotted as follows;
0 – 20 registration --------0 song
21- 75 registration ------- 1 song
76 – 150 registration ----- 2 songs
151 – 225 registration --- 3 songs
226 & up registration --- 4 songs
2) Executives of Units with 21 registrations & up will be informed with number of songs allotted for the particular unit. It is the responsibility of the unit executive committee to screen their best singers & provide their names & contact information to Ganamela committee. Last date to receive singers name and their contact information on or before June 20, 2010.Strictly, Nomination of names has to go through Executive committee of each Knanaya unit. Please do not contact any Ganamela committee members by any singers before they are officially selected by their Executive committee.
3) Songs may be Single/Duet/Group. No combination of songs allowed.
4) Final discition of allotting a particular song by Ganamela committee. Ganamela committee has authority to eliminate a candidate selected by each unit, if the musicians & Ganamela committee find out a particular candidate is not meeting an average standard during rehearsal to perform in the stage.
5) Each & every singers in the Ganamela must attend rehearsal on Saturday July 24 &/or Sunday July 25.Time will be announced later date. No one will be allowed to perform in the actual event without rehearsal.
6) All the above-mentioned rules and guidelines of Ganamela are approved by Steering committee of KCCNA convention, 2010.
