| A Letter from Transportation Committee |
Dear Friends,
My name is Thomas Madathilparambil and I am the Chairperson for Transportation for the upcoming KCCNA Convention. On behalf of our entire committee, we warmly welcome all of you to Dallas for this exciting event. For your convenience, we have made following arrangements for your transportation needs:
AIRPORT ARRIVALS (PICK UP IS FROM 8 AM TO 8 PM)
From DFW Airport:
General Information: There are 5 terminals (A, B, C, D & E).
We will have coordinators in each terminal at baggage claims 10 and 20. The coordinators will be in uniforms and will have KCCNA on their T-shirt, so you will be able to easily identify them. These coordinators will direct you to the buses that will transport you to the convention site. There will be Bell staff waiting at the hotel entrance to assist with the luggage. You will be handed a claim ticket for your luggage. You may proceed to the Registration desk and your luggage will be waiting there for you.
From Dallas Love Field:
General Information: There is only one terminal at this airport.
There will be coordinators who will be awaiting your arrival by baggage claim. The coordinators will provide the same services as stated above.
DEPARTURES (DROP OFF 5 AM TO 12.30 PM)
General Information: There will be signs by the main elevators that will direct you to the “KCCNA Departure Area” which will be located next to the Convention Center entrance. On-site coordinators will direct guests toward the correct buses that will transport them to the correct airport terminals. We have arranged it so baggage handlers will be responsible for loading your luggage to the appropriate buses. Please ensure that you allocate plenty of time for the entire departure process so you will not miss your flight home.
LAST DROP OFF TO BOTH AIRPORTS IS 12:30 PM SHARP.
Please remember that the success of these arrangements depend very much on your cooperation and communication with our committee. If you have not done so already, please go to the KCCNA CONVENTION website (http://kccnaconvention.net) and log in. Once you have logged in, you will see “Required transportation from Airport”. If you click yes, this will provide you with a link that you can fill in your flight details, number of passengers, etc. This information is REQUIRED by June 15, 2010.
