| URGENT MESSAGE REGARDING REGISTRATION 3-22-2010 |
Dear Community Members:
As many of you might know, Dallas is going to host the next KCCNA Convention in July 2010. I am fortunate and proud to be the Chairman of our big event. The planning of the convention started 5 months ago. Out of two competitive big facilities, we had to choose Gaylord Texan as our venue because of a better proportion falls under great value verses economical burden. This resort gives us the option to accommodate as many as 1500 families under one roof with free convention hall coupled with few other ballrooms and/or breakout rooms PLUS an indoor area for sports and ball game. That means there is no need to step outside for any convention programs unless we want to add something that requires open air. The convention sub committee chair, co-chair, members are under construction (few of them have been formed already) and we are going to expand conv.committee with other units on the upcoming First convention committee meeting in Chicago which is due on August 1st. The Dallas unit is focusing the areas primarily where frequent contact and labor are required .
As of June 30Th, KCCNA president has signed the contract with Gaylord Texan to host our upcoming convention starting July 22ND through 25Th of the year 2010. Based on the pros and cons from previous events, we are going to sort out the best approach to give each family an enjoyable atmosphere to maximize the value in return and thereby a remarkable experience in their memory. In order to make the event a great success, we need your help in areas where plan ahead, early registration, maximum participation from each unit etc. We are currently discussing the registration and food packages. Hopefully by the next meeting, KCCNA will be able to present the above package pricing information.
