1. Check in and check out times for Gaylord Texan?

Normal check in time on July 22 2010 would be 3:00 PM and check out time on July 26, 2010 would be 11:00 AM. But if rooms are ready, then the registrants would be able to check in early.

2. Can you call Gaylord Texan directly to book your rooms, if you are not registering as a sponsor and would like to stay in Gaylord?

To get the discounted rate, please reserve your room thru the accommodation committee itself. Make sure to include the details about your room requirements in the registration form, ie, number rooms, number of days etc.

3. If you are registering as a sponsor, should you call Gaylord for your room reservation?

No, the accommodation committee would be glad to take care of this for you. The Gaylord Texan will give the room confirmation number to the accommodation committee.

4. How many rooms are available with handicap accessibility?

The rooms for the convention will be in the River Walk and Hill Country (ROH) area. There are 33 regular rooms, 1 executive suite and 1 presidential suite with handicap accessibility.

5. Will room numbers be assigned to registrants?

No, Gaylord Texan would assign the rooms at the time of check in. But the accommodation committee would obtain the room confirmation number when registration is completed for each registrant.

6. Can the registrants select the bed type they want in the room?

Yes, the type of bed, one king or two queens, can be selected by the registrants. Please make these selections in the registration form itself so that this can be communicated to Gaylord Texan in time.

7. Total number of rooms with king and queen beds?

273 rooms with king beds and 663 rooms with 2 queens in the ROH area of rooms.

8. What if more requests are received for 2 queen beds than available at the hotel?

Gaylord Texan will have rollaway beds which can be added to the king bed rooms.

9. Availability of Wi-Fi connections?

Wi-Fi internet connections are free to use in the guest rooms.

10. Can you upgrade your regular room to a suite room?

Yes, the regular rooms can be upgraded to the executive or deluxe suites based on availability. Please contact the accommodation committee for additional rates and other details.

11. Why credit card information is requested in the registration form and is it required to reserve your room?

Credit card information required in the registration form is optional and it is not required to reserve your room or complete your registration. If it is not provided to us in the registration form, Gaylord Texan will collect this at the time of check in to cover incidents that KCCNA is not responsible for.

1. Can I add other family members with my Registration?

NO. Family means husband, wife, unmarried dependent children and dependent parents.

2. How do Guests register for the convention?

Guests (people from outside USA and Canada ) are not considered as part of family and therefore require separate registration. Guests CAN NOT register through on-line. Guests must fill the PDF registration form and send the appropriate amount to Registration Chair.
The registration Fees is: $100 per individual/ $250 per family For accommodation, banquet and food, fill the appropriate areas in the registration form.

3. Can Knanaya Jacobites attend the convention?

Yes, Knanaya Jacobite registrants need to get signature from their local Knanaya priest and the Knanaya Catholic association President if available in their city. The Registration Official will verify the registration. They can register by selecting any of the normal registration package offered. (They will not be able to participate in any competitions)
